At Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions and division Rock Tools, we’re now looking for a Regional Inventory Planner to join us – a crucial role in ensuring efficient inventory management. The Regional Planning organization ensures a solid foundation for delivering products and meeting customer demands by analyzing data, spotting trends and planning efficient ways to produce and distribute our tools. About your job

In this position, you oversee the commercial impact of inventory activities, ensuring efficient transporting and control of finished goods. You actively drive and implement development activities within our region, initiating new ways of working with systems, processes and documentation. Collaboration is key to our success, and you’re an important speaking partner and sounding board to our global Supply Chain Development team, sales organization and other relevant stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Sales Area with inventory and replenishment, maintaining stock levels.
• Liaising with Sales and Customer Service on delivery issues, handling regional buying and sourcing alternatives.
• Optimizing local inventory, managing slow-moving items and returns, performing inventory analytics and overseeing order management.
• Setting up new contracts and consignment systems and managing regional logistics.
• Contributing to the Regional Sales and Operations Planning process (S&OP).

The location for this position is Sandviken, Sweden. Some international and domestic travel is a natural part of the job.

Your profile

We’re looking for someone with qualifications in supply or inventory management discipline (certificate or above) or demonstrable experience in inventory planning. You have a background in the mining or heavy industry and experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools. Your excellent problem solving and analytical skills are supported by your expertise in MS Excel and proficiency in SAP S4/HANA Order Management or Materials Management. With your drive and energy, you’re able to consistently meet and exceed organizational goals. As we’re a truly global organization, you need excellent written and verbal skills in English. Swedish language skills is a plus.
